How to refill your prescriptions
Learn how to order online or via our mobile app
Getting your medications should be as easy as possible. When it's time to refill, just order online in a few simple steps — no waiting on hold. Plus, you can sign up for text or email reminders* to stay on top of it.
Once you log into your CVS specialty account, you are shown a list of your prescriptions.
Those that are available to fill or refill have an Add button beneath their name and details.
Select Add to start a new order.
You may add multiple available prescriptions to a single order.
Select Continue to Cart to change how you receive your prescription.
Select Change in the How to Get It section of the cart to select a delivery option, then select Continue to Change.
When you may receive your delivery, select Change next to Scheduled Delivery and use the calendar to adjust the recommended dates, then select Save Delivery Date.
When the details in the cart are correct, select Checkout.
Fill out the questions from your Pharmacy team form about your prescription.
This can be a long form, but it's a necessary step to complete your order.
When complete, select Submit and Check out.
At checkout, select Review Order to see the details of your order and then select Place Order to complete the transaction.
You will receive a confirmation message that the order is being worked on.

Text alerts are a convenient, timely way to stay up to date wherever you are. We send real-time text alerts when:
- A prescription is ready for refill
- Your CareTeam needs to reach you
- An order has shipped
- A payment is due

To start receiving text alerts,* sign in or register for an account, then go to "My Account" and check the box next to "Receive Text Alerts."
